Does this increase the cost of my checkride?
No. Scheduling through CheckrideConnect does not increase the price of the checkride itself; the examiner’s fee is separate. Our service fee covers the timely connection with a DPE in your local area .
How does CheckrideConnect work?
Our process it designed to be as easy for the customer as possible! Once we receive the information provided through our contact form, we will begin reaching out to our extensive list of DPEs to find the best available slot for you. We will provide the most efficient and timely date available. You will receive a confirmation once the checkride is booked with all important information including location, flight plan, checklist, etc. You will also receive customer support if you need help leading up to the big day.
Do I pay up front or when a date is scheduled?
There is no up front charge to begin the process of finding you a checkride slot. We will send an invoice when a date has been scheduled with an examiner. See our pricing info here.
What happens if the test is cancelled for weather, maintenance, etc?
If the checkride is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, illness or maintenance, we will help you reschedule your checkride at no cost. If the checkride is rescheduled due to the applicant being unprepared (late, does not meet requirements, etc.) there will be a rescheduling fee.
